GDUI-Leaders

GDUI-Leaders is a list created by Guide Dog Users, Inc. to provide a forum for its leadership.
Members of this list should hold a current, working, leadership role within GDUI or one of its affiliates.  List traffic is typically very low on this list, so that the time-constraints of list members can be respected.

GDUI-Leaders list members must be approved by the list moderators.  This list is for:

  • GDUI-Board members,
  • GDUI-Affiliate-Board members,
  • current members of GDUI standing committees.
     
GDUI Leaders Subscription Instructions
 
1. Send an e-mail with subscribe in the subject line to the following address:
 
2. You will receive a message from Yahoogroups asking if you intended to subscribe to GDUI-
leaders. Please check and approve the appropriate message in your junk, spam or trash folders if
it doesn't appear.
 
3. Respond (as instructed in the message) by simply replying to the message. This method is
recommended as the most blind-friendly.
 
4. You will receive an e-mail from the list moderators which outlines for whom this list is
intended, suggests appropriate topics, and asks for a reply to let the moderators know your role
in GDUI or one of its affiliates. if It does not appear, check and approve the appropriate message
in your junk, spam or trash folders.
 
5. Please reply to that message. GDUI-Leaders is set to require moderator approval for
subscribers, and the approval can be made -- if appropriate -- once the requested information is
received.
 
6. If your subscription is approved, you will receive another message from yahoogroups letting
you know and welcoming you to the list.

GDUI-Friends

Anyone not currently occupying at least one of the above-mentioned roles is invited to join GDUI-Friends, also a yahoo group.  (Members who serve in leadership roles are also encouraged to join GDUI-Friends if they have available time for that.)
