On behalf of the ultimate beneficiaries, guide dog teams of today and tomorrow, thank you for visiting our donation page. GDUI is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit corporation. Your donation is tax deductible, but always check with your financial advisor.
Education and advocacy are the hallmarks of GDUI. Through our publication, PawTracks members and friends of GDUI are kept up to date with guide dog legislation, canine health news, and much more in support of the dog/human partnership.
With a volunteer Board of seasoned guide dog handlers and others located across the United States, committees are formed to support and carry out GDUI’s educational outreach, advocacy, and industry advisory roles. Through its affiliate chapters and a national organization, GDUI supports people who are blind and visually impaired and partnered with guide dogs. What we can accomplish in a given year is directly related to our operating budget. Your heart-felt financial gift will go directly to supporting the protection of civil rights for working teams, advocacy, legislative and public education efforts described in GDUI's Mission Statement.
Our fund raising committee likes to think of itself as the “friend raising committee”– By giving to GDUI, you are extending friendship to every blind or visually impaired person who chooses to partner with a guide dog. Or, if you are teamed with a guide dog yourself, then your gift is an expression of friendship and support to others who have made the same decisions about mobility and safe travel as part of a working guide dog team.
